What CON-Quest is

CON-Quest is a directory and communication tool. We list conventions, help people RSVP, chat, form ConClans, post meetups, and optionally appear on Cosplay Radar. We are not the convention. We are not security. We are not your ride, your hotel, or your chaperone.

In-person risk

If you meet someone from the app at a con, a faire, a photoshoot, a party, or anywhere else, you do that at your own risk. CON-Quest does not background-check users. We do not verify that a person is who they say they are. We do not guarantee that a meetup is safe, real, or still happening.

Location and Radar

If you enable location or Cosplay Radar, you understand other users may see that you are nearby or that you RSVP’d / arrived at an event. You can turn those features off. We are not responsible for how another user uses that information.

User content

Lobby Chat, Fandoms, Tea Room, DMs, profiles, photos, and meetups are created by users. We do not endorse that content. Tea Room nicknames are anonymous on screen. That does not make a post true.

No professional advice

Nothing in CON-Quest is legal, medical, or professional advice.

Release

To the maximum extent allowed by Texas law, you release CON-Quest Cosplay LLC, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and ambassadors from claims arising out of:

• meeting or communicating with other users
• attending a listed convention or meetup
• relying on event times, locations, or user posts
• loss of data, account access, or device issues
• vendor or sponsor listings

This does not waive liability that Texas law says cannot be waived, including liability for our own gross negligence or willful misconduct where that limit is barred.

Assumption of risk

Convention floors are loud, crowded, and unpredictable. Costumes, props, and crowds can cause injury. You assume those ordinary risks when you attend an event you found or organized through CON-Quest.
