We made CON Quest because planning a convention weekend can get messy. Event details are in one place. Your friends are talking somewhere else. Meetup plans can disappear inside a busy group chat. It should not take that much work to enjoy a con.
CON Quest puts the useful parts of the weekend together. You can find conventions, RSVP, talk in the convention lobby, join fandom conversations, plan a meetup, and keep up with your friends and ConClan.
We also wanted to make it easier for people to meet. Some people arrive with a whole crew. Some arrive alone. Some are comfortable walking up to anyone. Others need a little help starting the conversation. The app gives everyone a simple way to find people with shared interests before the convention starts.
This is not a project we want to grow quickly, sell, and leave behind. We want to stay involved, listen to the people using it, and improve it over time. If we make a decision about growth or money, we want that decision to support the community and keep the app running well.
We started in Texas because this is our home and this is the convention community we know. Our goal is to learn from the people here, build something useful with them, and then bring it to more convention communities.

Cosplay can be creative, personal, funny, serious, or all of those at once. People come to conventions to show what they made, enjoy a character they love, see friends, and feel part of something. We want CON Quest to make that feeling easier to find. You do not need a large following, an expensive costume, or years of experience. You only need to care about the community and treat people with respect.

A community only works when people feel comfortable using it. That is why CON Quest is for adults age 18 and older and why safety tools are part of the app from the beginning.
You decide who can contact you. Friend requests come before direct messages. You can block people, report accounts or content, and turn location features off whenever you want.
We know a set of tools cannot solve every problem. We still need clear rules, careful moderation, and feedback from the community. If something feels wrong, block it, report it, and let us know.

Who is CON Quest for?
It is for adults age 18 and older who enjoy cosplay, conventions, fandoms, or simply being part of the convention community. You do not need to cosplay to belong here.
Why did you build it?
We kept seeing the same problem. Convention details, group plans, meetups, and community conversations were spread across too many places. We wanted one simple place built around the way people actually plan a convention weekend.
How is it different from a regular social app?
CON Quest is not built around likes, follower counts, or endless scrolling. It is built around real conventions, useful plans, and meeting people with shared interests.
What is the long term goal?
We want to build a community that lasts. We are not trying to gather users, make a quick profit, and disappear. We want to listen, improve the app, and make choices that are good for the people using it.
Can I use it before a convention?
Yes. You can find events, RSVP, talk with other attendees, make meetup plans, and organize your crew before the convention starts.
What is a ConClan?
A ConClan is a group chat for your convention crew. It keeps your people and your plans together. Download the app
Do I have to share my location?
No. Location sharing is optional. Cosplay Radar only works when you choose to use it, and you can turn it off.
How do I report a problem?
