CON-Quest hosts user photos, profiles, chat images, and vendor materials. We respect copyright. We also respect the names of conventions we list as facts (name, dates, city). We do not claim those events as ours and we do not use a con’s official artwork unless we have permission.
Your content
Do not upload art, photos, or logos you do not have the right to use. Cosplay photos of yourself are usually fine. Pulling another photographer’s shot without permission is not.
DMCA notice
If you are a copyright owner and you believe content on CON-Quest or conquestcosplay.com infringes your work, send a notice that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Description of the copyrighted work
- The exact URL or in-app location of the material
- Your name, address, phone, and email
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act

Counter-notice
If we remove your content and you believe it was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice with your signature, the material removed, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake, and your consent to Texas court jurisdiction.
Repeat infringers
We will terminate accounts that repeatedly infringe.
This policy is meant to follow the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512. We can remove content before a notice if it clearly violates our rules.
